A fictional cartoon character from the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, Plankton owns a restaurant called the The Chum Bucket that makes the only competition of Mr. Krabs' business in Bikini. It is only in an episode like Plankton's Army that viewers learn the full name of the character: Sheldon J. Plankton. He is married to a computer, but not even his wife, Karen, knows his full name. He is a zooplankter with one eye in the center of his head that is easily recognized by his very deep voice. Who would expect mighty things from the jelly green bean-shaped creature that is 99% evil and only 1% good. Jealous and sneaky, Plankton ignores the fact that he and Mr. Krabs used to be friends, with Krabs as his only protector against those who bullied him. Plankton's anger is often directed towards SpongeBob whom he thinks to be too silly and babyish, and who on top of everything has the privilege of knowing the ingredients of the Krabby Patty recipe.

We could say that there is no antagonist or villain in the SpongeBob SquarePants series other than Plankton. He creates all sorts of major plans to achieve his goals and usually gets to work with characters that are much stronger in terms of physical appearance; a very large ego surely hides in that tiny body of his. From a certain perspective, Plankton wins viewers over by his miserable failures at getting something he puts so much emphasis on. Plankton really makes the animation series a lot spicier.

7 Ideas To Effectively Practice Music

The quality of your practice is much more important than the quantity. The old saying "practice makes perfect" is only true if the practice itself is perfect. To make your practice more efficient and effective, here are 7 tips to help you.

Practice motions slowly

The muscular memory of our bodies allows us to physically carry out patterns of motion with little or no conscious involvement. Examples of muscular memory include walking, riding a bicycle, typing, and of course playing a musical instrument.

In order to develop this memory, the muscles require training in the form of repeated conscious guidance from the mind. You must learn the pattern first. Then the mind must "teach" the pattern to the muscles.

The mind initially must control all the motions of the muscles. The more controlled and precise the motions, the more quickly the muscles will develop muscle memory.

The best way to teach "antagonistic muscles" to relax is to practice slow. Muscles that move in opposite directions are called antagonistic muscles. By relaxing antagonistic muscles you can reduce tension and facilitate faster and easier performance and avoid potential injury.

Practice in small cells

A "practice cell" is simply a finite series of motions. Musical cells can correspond to anything from a few notes to an entire work. The important thing is to practice small cells of a few notes at a time. Practicing small cells limits the amount of information the muscles have to learn at one time. This will also help with the mind's concentration and focus.

Link the end of one cell to the beginning of the next

To help the muscles develop a sense of continuum throughout the piece of music, the last motion in a cell should be the first motion of the following cell.

Practice each cell in bursts

Once the muscles have learned a pattern, they will be capable of executing it without conscious control. Initiate the pattern through a conscious command and allow the muscles to execute it in a burst.

Don't practice mistakes

Pause between repetitions

When dealing with repetitive activities, the mind is better able to focus when the repetitions are broken up by short pauses. Pause for 30 seconds and regain focus after two or three repetitions.

Take frequent breaks and don't "over-practice"

B.F. Skinner and other experts have found that the mind's ability to learn drops significantly after prolonged intense concentration. Research shows that studying too long (i.e. more than four hours) can deplete chemicals in the brain necessary for learning. Therefore, it is best to take frequent breaks (a 5 minute break about every 20-25 minutes) and practice no more than 4 hours consecutively.

By applying these techniques, you can dramatically improve the quality of your practice. You'll be able to use your time more efficiently and increase the effectiveness of your practice.

Thoughts on The New Star Trek Movie

If your're a child of the 60s, there's a good chance you'll have grown up watching original runs of the original Star Trek episodes. In fact, Trek was the first program on TV I ever saw in color!

People seem to have the greatest allegience to the show they grew up with. For those born in the 70s and 80s, it was Next Generation and/or Deep Space Nine. Those born a few years later favour Voyager. And those people who appeared on the planet in the mid-80s and after, seemed to go for Enterprise.

Most people who were there for the original run of TOS (The Original Series) remember it fondly and feel its morality tales still have relevance in today's world. Those growing up on later series have a less favorable impresssion. It's interesting that because TOS was shot on film, Star Trek is being released on Blu-Ray in high definition whereas Next Gen was shot on video and so no high-def copies will ever become available.

Enterprise is the only other Trek series incarnation that's likely to appear in high definition on Blu-Ray. This series received a lot of criticism from Star Trek fans for palaying around with Trek history. Spock was supposed to have been the first Vulcan serving in Starfleet, yet T'Pol served as First Officer 150 years earlier in Enterprise. since she wasn't a Starfleet officer, the apparent dichotomy was solved. Enterprise contained other Trek history rewrites also. Actually, this didn't annoy me that much as Enterprise was much more in line with the spirit of TOS than the intervening efforts.

The first Star Trek movie appeared 30 years ago. The last movie, Star Trek: Nemesis, out in 2002, was a dismal effort and put paid to any future Next Gen movies being developed. And now, seven years later, Star Trek XI lands on May 8th, 2009.

I've looked at the trailers and hmmm...I have a lot of reservations about this movie. But that's because I grew up with the old crew and I don't think it's a good idea to tinker with Star Trek history (despite not being put out by what Enterprise did). The problem for me is that Star Trek XI messes with the characters' own histories, takes liberties with their relationships and will fundamentally change how those characters will be perceived.

I know that this is a reboot for a new, younger audience, but (not having seen the movie), perhaps it would have been a better idea to use a different crew and ship, but set in the pre-TOS years. I'm not enamoured with some of the casting choices either. Okay, I agree I'm something of a curmudgeonly old fart on this.

Time will tell. There's only a couple of weeks more to wait till Star Trek XI hits the theaters. Naturally, I'll go along to it. I really hope that I'll be applauding at the end of the movie and wanting more instead of holding my head in my hands disappointed with the "vision" of a director who wasn't even a Star Trek fan.

The race for ticket office cash is not all that fuels this raw open ended sort of expression in the flick industry. The mention of any type of control [ even self control ] is had a meeting with cries of violated first amendment rights and the old liberty of expression hype. The Bible isn't bored with anything apart from has a lot to claim about how sick human behavior can become. Maybe it is best claimed by the bible regardless of whether Hollywood is listening or not. An important travel hub, Casablanca plays host to many colorful characters with any amount of varying agendas.

Now, she was appearing in his establishment with her hubby, fugitive and Nazi resistance leader Victor Laszlo. As the hours pass, and the Fascists desperately search for Laszlo in an attempt to chop off his escape, Rick learns the truth about Ilsa and her reason for leaving. 

At present, Laszlo's destiny is in his hands. Since his days in Paris, Rick's made a habit of being practical, both in his business life and in his private life But will Rick use his influence and connections to help himself or Victor Laszlo? Will his idealism prevail over his toughened pragmatism? The 3rd Reich is closing in, and Rick must make a decision regarding Ilsa and Laszlo before time runs out... The recipient of widespread vital commend in the more than 6 decades since its release, Casablanca is one of the few films deemed as a theatre classic that basically lives up to the mega-hype surrounding it. The set design, costumes, and direction are absolutely flawless. The dialogue is superb. Bogart and Bergman are perfect as the lovers torn apart, and Claude Rains is extraordinary as Captain Renault. If you've got a dislike to pre-1980 movies or some other strange reason for missing out on this one, then I highly inspire you to observe Casablanca. You will not regret it.

Black Christmas Movie Review

This festive fright-fest was a nice surprise from what I was originally expecting. This is another horror remake [ from the folks behind 'Final Destination' great film ], but un-like so many others ; it did manage to come up trumps; such as ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.’ This is a remake of Bob Clarke’s 1974 classic slasher movie, ‘Black Christmas’; which essentially came 4 years before John Chippie's 'Halloween'. Some fans lay claim that it was the first slasher flick. 

From the outside, this looks like just another of your basic 'there's a psycho hacking up some pretty girls, who are running up the steps rather than out of the door,' and to a certain extent that’s correct, it’s the way this is conveyed which is fascinating and enticing to look at. 

The story: crazed killer, Billy Lenz, escapes his psychiatric ward and is determined to make it to his childhood home, where he was abused, by Christmas. Problem is, it’s years on and the house is now a Sorority house. It is Yuletide Eve and a who's who of teenager / horror girl stars are there to welcome him, including Melissa [ Michelle Trachtenberg , ‘Buffy the vampire slayer' fame ], Heather [ Mary Elizabeth Winstead, ‘Final Destination 3' ], Dana [ Lacey Chabert, 'Mean Girls' ] and Kelli [ Katie Cassidy, ‘When a stranger calls' remake. ] This movie is really good, it's got a constant feeling of being watched that runs right thru it and adds a sparkle to the shocks, and the tension is kept high. The actresses, though spouting some awful lines at times, also say some good ones. The acting is good, and because the majority of the leading ladies are stars, and a lot of them horror stars, the audience doesn’t guess which one is about to make it to the rolling credits. 

The story-line builds well, and there's a mounting tension, as the killer first phones the girls, and then starts to lose them. An analogous story to the first 'Halloween', with a killer coming home for the vacations, there are also many similar P.O.V shots of the killer, watching the girls across the house. The Christmas theme bleeds in nicely with the plot, and it comes across in places [ especially, the flash-backs to Billy Lenz’s childhood ] like something, director, Tim Burton, would dream up. The film gets darker and darker as we move through it, with some very violent scenes, and the music by Shirley Walker is great ; capturing horror and Yuletide all in one twisted melody. 

Also, the application red and green lighting throughout [ owed to Christmas ] is awfully cool, and creates a great atmosphere. Due to it being set in a Sorority house, and this no longer being 1974, some of the dialogue just doesn’t cut it. I will not imagine lots of these girls' staying in the house with a demented serial killer, because they can't find their ‘sorority sister,’ believable in 2007 unhappy, but true.

There is, unfortunately, the obligatory shower scene, but it’s used for shocks, not thrills, and so works. Right from the start you can tell, this isn’t your common run of the mill slasher, it actually has a back story, and we do find ourselves caring for some of the characters, for instance, Kelli, played by Katie Cassidy is great; plus if you hated 'Dawn' in 'Buffy the vampire slayer' you are gonna love this movie.

Braveheart Movie Review

Long before The Eagerness of the Christ, Mel Gibson directed another cinematic masterwork, Braveheart. Filmed against the backdrop of majestic mountains and rolling meadows, it tells the historically-based [ yet not completely correct ] story of William Wallace, a common man's soldier who led the Scottish folks in rebellion against King Edward I, sometimes called Longshanks. Written by Randall Wallace, an Yank tourist fascinated with a Scottish statue of his namesake, the script picked up dust in Hollywood for more than a decade before Gibson made the brilliant call to put it on the massive screen. Like the Keenness , it's a call he wouldn't regret Set in the 11th Century, Braveheart catalogs the battle of Scottish serfs who labor under the savage oppression of English occupation forces. Amidst these awful conditions, William Wallace [ Mel Gibson ] falls in love with Murron MacClannough [ Catherine McCormack ]. 

Urgent on not sharing his other half [ an announcement by the king gives local rulers first-night rights to new brides ] Wallace anonymously marries Murron. Nonetheless , an British knight attacks her, sparking a fight with Wallace. Fleeing the town, Wallace believes Murron has escaped and will soon meet him at a secret rendezvous point. But Murron is caught and executed by the king's emissaries. Annoyed by his other half's murder, Wallace induces a local rebellion, massacring all of the king's loyalists in his hamlet. As his rebellion grows, a upset Longshanks [ Patrick McGoohan ] dispatches his mythical Northern armed forces to break it. But the courageous Wallace delivers a stirring speech to wake his men, whilst employing a creative battleground trick to defeat the king's cavalry. With the power and legend of Wallace growing day by day, Longshanks depends on his daughter-in-law, Princess Isabelle [ Sophie Marceau ] to broker a truce. 

But Isabelle's power is limited, and Wallace realizes his folk can only win liberty if backed by the Scottish nobles. Their allocated leader is Robert the Bruce [ Angus MacFadyen ] who oscillates between his own idealistic perspectives and his pa's pessimistic pragmatism. Does the nobles join with Wallace? Does the Scots win their freedom? Only history tells us the answer With complicated costumes, clear battle scenes, and a noble hero as its focal point, Braveheart is more than your classic run-of-the-mill action film. 

Part history, part Hollywood heroism its undying idealism hits a cord with each spectator. In truth, the flick itself led on to a resurgence in patriotic pride that fueled the successful Scottish autonomy movement of the 1990s. It is a testament to the strength and character of the genuine life William Wallace. A thousand years on, his enduring inheritance continues to radically change the EU landscape, and Mel Gibson captures the noble soldier's keenness with an awesome Academy prize-winning masterwork.

The Truth about the Dr Who Scarf

The scarf was trimmed again at the beginning of season thirteen to a mere twelve foot.The Dr Who scarf remained in this format for the rest of season thirteen.

Season fourteen saw a confusing time for the Dr Who scarf, there were actually two used during filming, one was ten and a half feet long, while the other was only ten feet long.  In most of the episodes of this season the shorter scarf is used for indoor filming, while the longer one is used on outdoor shoots.There is one anomaly, the scarves are switched around in the Hand of Fear the scarves.

There is one longer version of the Dr Who scarf, a whooping seventeen foot scarf.  This is used in three episodes; Image of the Fendahl, Underworld and Invasion of Time.Strangely enough, this Dr Who scarf had the shortest life span of any of the multicoloured scarves.

The BBC did release the design for the Dr Who scarf, however, the version of the scarf they produced was actually the third and not the original version.

In the final two seasons of the multicolored Dr Who scarf, it was quite severely adapted.  This scarf was a combination of two previously used scarves.This was finally replaced in the fourth Doctors last season, the eighteenth season, with a burgundy striped scarf.This burgundy scarf started off at around twenty feet, but stretched during the season to a mega twenty four feet.

The latest Dr Who sonic screwdriver is rather a good one.  It glows blue at the end and makes a humming noise.  The capabilities of the sonic screwdriver are also enhanced and it is used by the Doctor for all sorts of new things.  The sonic does have its limitations, in an encounter with the Slitheen the Doctor tries to suggest that he will use his sonic screwdriver to convert a bottle of port into a weapon.  The Slitheen realize that this is not within the capabilities of either the Doctor or his trusty sonic screwdriver and the Doctor suggests an alternative route – “Run”.  In the episode ‘The Doctor Dances’, Captain Jack makes fun of the Doctors sonic screwdriver and tries to impress Rose with his sonic blaster.

The Master does get the icing on the cake, however, when he arrives with a laser screwdriver.The laser screwdriver has an completely different role to the sonic screwdriver.  The Dr Who sonic screwdriver is not a weapon, the Doctor tells us in Doomsday that the sonic screwdriver will not kill, wound or maim.  It is a tool which the doctor uses to his advantage.  The Master, however, has a different agenda, his laser screwdriver is designed to kill and also to age the Doctor, using the Lazarus technology.

We also discover that a new sonic screwdriver can be replaced by the TARDIS, but for those of us who do not have access to a TARDIS, Character toys make a good substitute.  The Dr Who sonic screwdriver comes in two basic designs, either a pen or torch design.  Which ever you choose you can be sure that any child will reveal the depths of their imagination when they tell you all the things which their sonic screwdriver can do!

Requiem For A Dream

Requiem For a Dream  is a 1978 novel and film released in the year 2000.  A man named Selby wrote the novel, while Darren Aronofky directed the movie.  The film was nominated for some academy awards.  Here is some information about both versions.

Since the novel came first it comes first here too.  It's about a group of four related people.  The group is Harry, Marion, Tyrone and Sara.  Harry and Marion are a couple.  Tyrone is their friend.  Sara is Harry's mother.  Each of them becomes obsessed with gaining their dream.  They all become addicted to something in the pursuit of their dreams.  Sara is obsessed with becoming a TV star.  She turns to diet pills after she thinks a casting company has told her she has a chance at stardom.  Finally she overdoses on the pills.  The other three become heroin dealers.  But they'll become addicted to the drug they seek to sell.  Everyone's life is ruined.

The movie focuses more on Sara and Harry, but still includes Marion and Tyrone.  The plot follows the novel fairly closely.  Also like the novel it takes place during three consecutive seasons – summer, fall, and winter.

Sara spends the summer watching infomercials.  She eats while she watches.  She realizes this makes her fat.  But her life gains new purpose when the producers of the infomercial call her to tell her she may be on the infomercial.  She decides she wants to wear an old red dress that no longer fits her.  She has to diet to do it.  When that doesn't work she sees a doctor who prescribes amphetamines.  She takes to many, addiction develops.  Signs of this addiction are overly happy personality, and constantly grinding her teeth.

Harry and Tyrone decide to deal drugs.  They think they can some day buy and sell a pound of heroin which would make them wealthy.  Marion believes that the money Harry makes as a drug dealer will allow her to purchase a clothing store.  Tyrone's goal is to end his life of living on the street.

In the fall Sara's addiction has worsened.  She increases the dose because it's no longer helping her.  Soon she begins to hallucinate about her refrigerator moving around the house.  The police bust Harry and Tyrone.  All of the money they have made goes to bail.  They begin to use more of their product themselves.

As expected it's a sad ending.  Winter is horrible.  Harry is hospitalized after plunging from a roof top,  Sara is institutionalized, Tyrone is once again arrested and jailed, and finally Marion can't shake her own heroin addiction.  Everyone except Harry ends up hallucinating a fantasy world.

A movie called Joe Dirt came out in 2001.  David Spade was the star.  David Spade wrote it.

Critics weren't kind to Joe Dirt.  It has an average rating of three out of 10 and one of the well-known multiple review sites.  Those famous TV reviewers both gave it a big thumbs down.  They called it strained and predictable and said the storyline was absurd.  But they thought Spade was OK.

It pulled in nearly $30 million in the USA.  Joe Dirt earned cash.  Its budget was only $16 million.  It also made it to number one in New Zealand.  But David Spade joked that New Zealand is only the size of Kmart.  Dennis Miller often mentions the movie.  He's even interviewed David Spade about it.

Joe Dirt works at a Los Angeles radio station as a low paid janitor.  A producer discovers Joe and his funny white trash habits.  He decides to create a series of interviews for Joe.  The movie is Joe telling his story.

Joe Dirt loves a girl named Brandy.  Joe decides to try to find his parents after Brandy loses her dog.  He travels the country.  He has some wacky adventures.  He meets some weird people.  He works many jobs to make ends meet.  That's how he came to work at the station.

Eventually Joe Dirt gives up a search and returns to Brandy.  He finds out that she knows that his parents were killed while he was visiting the Grand Canyon.  His search was useless.  

Joe Dirt has become popular with listeners.  He's a celebrity.  A woman claiming to be his mother calls him.  It turns out it's all a scam.  She's trying to sell figurines using his name.  She is his mother, but she's only interested in money.

Then Joe Dirt tries to kill himself.  He's  saved by a bungee cord.  But he hits his head on the way back up.  He later wakes up at Brandy's house surrounded by many of the people he's met on his journey.  He has finally found a family.  It's pretty bad.  Critics hated it for good reason.

Everything We Need To Know About the Dr Who Ood

The Dr Who Ood are more complicated than we are originally led to believe.  The Ood are a funny looking race with no apparent difference between male and females, all Ood look the same.  These squid faced humanoids with their coleoid tentacles over their mouths appear to be physically quite vulnerable.  They do not have the protection of amour or a tough outer skin, they are also further encumbered by having one hand permanently in use.  This is not the appearance of a race of fighters, so what are the Ood really?

The Dr Who Ood all carry something in their hand which is attached by a tube to their mouths.  When the Ood are a slave race they carry a translator which allows the Ood to communicate with their human masters.As the story of the Ood progresses we discover that originally they had held an external brain in their hand.This brain contained all their personal identity, thus when the humans added the translator device they were getting rid of their individual-ness and were therefore turning them from thinking individuals to anonymous slaves.  The Ood had not previously needed to speak as they are telepathic and communicated within their community without speech.

Where  are the Ood from?
One publication suggested that the Ood came from the Ood Sphere, close the Sense Spere planet.The Ood hive brain is discovered by the Doctor and is released from its enslavement.  Once this is done the Ood change and they again communicate with the hive mind and they are all returned to the ‘Planet of the Ood’.  The Ood appear fundamentally peaceful, however, they become aggressive when they are controlled incorrectly, either by the Beast or the hive mind when it is under attack.  Once the Ood are no longer enslaved and the Hive mind is free their communication sounds like a sound song which is audible to humans, and time lords.This adds to the implication of a graceful, peaceful Ood home planet.

Since the Doctor and Rose freed the Ood they are forever in his debt.  This fact alone is probably enough to ensure that at some point in the future the Ood will be ready to help the Doctor and return the favor.  The Doctor may often fight the evil of the universe, but along the way he makes powerful friends who will stand by him when needed.  This looks like a possible future role for the Ood.

It's debatable why movies would want to use subliminal messages.. Advertisers clearly use them with really great results. For example, to create more sales or to make the brand more prominent in your memory. But with a movie there is not this sales driven incentive. Licence to Wed – On the movie poster the word Sex is embedded into the sheet covers.

Spongebob – Hidden 666 symbols right through the film.

High School Musical – Contains various messages when the songs are played in reverse.

An Introduction to the Dr Who Cybermen

The Dr Who cybermen are an evil which we are all fascinated by.  In their current incarnation they represent the selfish obsession of one man, John Lumic.As fighting the aging and health battle goes, he is certainly not going to win in any shape or form without the cybermen.  To John Lumic the cybermen are his only means of survival, his only escape from the wheel chair which has confined him while his evil plans have grown and developed.

So what is it about the cybermen that frightens us?  The cybermen have one main characteristic, the same as the Doctors other arch enemy – the daleks, their lack of emotion.Without emotion we are unable to make sense of the world, the survival of the humans is impossible without emotion.  Deep down we all know this and this is why we fear the cybermen so much.

The current cybermen as designed with a ‘c’ on their chest for Cybus Industries, the company owned by John Lumic.  This new design was quite a challenge.  The Dr Who team worked on this for a full month before finalizing the new image cybermen.

The Dr Who cybermen are one of the most feared enemies of the Doctor, partly because they have been around and return with vengeance to haunt the Doctor. The importance of the Dr Who cybermen, means that the BBC marketing machine worked hard to make sure that all the aspects were covered, you can cover your walls with full size posters of the cybermen, sleep in duvet covers with the cybermen and daleks and of course you can buy the Dr Who Cybermen action figures.  So with all this to choose from where do you start on your cybermen appreciation?Most children will like the cybermen action figures.  The five inch Dr Who figures are extremely well made and designed.  Of course you can choose from the cybermen or their cyber controller.

A Review On The Best And Worst Comic Books Movies

Comic book movies have evolved greatly over the years. Initially, a comic book series was seen as a creative opportunity for filmmakers because so many of the plots were already written, with piles and piles to choose from, and the characters were so well-known and strong. Filmmakers could dress their characters in elaborate costumes, as well as indulge in some sci-fi fantasy settings and gadgets. Once graphics and special effects were developed to new heights, the comic book heroes could finally spring to life in all their glory.

The comic books DC put out seemed to enjoy more big screen success throughout the 1980s and 1990s, with "Superman II, III, and IV," "Swamp Thing," "Batman," "Batman Returns," "Batman Forever," and "Batman and Robin." Warner Brothers released all these films relentlessly, with a new debut each year it seemed. The 1989 Batman movie, directed by Tim Burton and starring Michael Keaton as Batman and Jack Nicholson as the Joker, was the second-highest grossing comic book movie until "The Dark Knight" (2008) knocked it down a notch. The sequel "Batman Returns," the third-highest grossing film of 1992, again starred Keaton as Batman and featured directing by Tim Burton but added Danny Devito as the Penguin and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman. Writer/Director Kevin Smith called 1992 "the summer of the bat," when Batman merchandise filled every store and sold with amazing efficiency.

While the 1990s may have been DC Comics time to shine, the new millennium was surely marked by a few extremely successful Marvel Comic hits. Blockbuster successes setting the new standard for comic book movies included: the "X-Men" trilogy, the "Spider-Man" trilogy and "Iron Man," all of which pulled in impressive numbers and impressed critics with their special effects, expert screen writing, ambitious sets and superb acting. "X-Men" was the ninth-highest grossing film of 2000 worldwide, won awards for special effects, makeup, acting, costume design, directing and best science fiction film, and, most importantly, reinvigorated audiences for the comic book genre again. "X2" was one of those rare sequels that fared even better than the original, coming in at #6 for 2003 and garnering widespread critical acclaim. The third "X-Men" movie was directed by Brett Radner, rather than Bryan Singer who did the previous two, so despite having the fifth highest opening day ever, the reviews were mixed.

It is obvious why motion picture companies love comic book movies; they are big moneymakers! "Batman: the Dark Knight" (2008) was the second-highest grossing film ever made, coming in at $522,106,180 and counting! It beat out the original Star Wars, Shrek, ET, Pirates of the Caribbean, the new Star Wars and Lord of the Rings but fell just short of Titanic. But why do we love these movies so much?
